I am currently a Senior Researcher and Team Leader at the Tencent AI Department.
I am leading a group of researchers and engineers, working on artificial intelligence for games. We have developed the famous JueWu Game AI using supervised learning and reinforcement learning.
Before joining Tencent, I was a research fellow at Microsoft Research Asia (MSRA), working in the Data Knowledge Intelligence (DKI) area, hosted by Shi HAN.
I finished my PhD at the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, in 2016. My PhD advisors were Zhenchang Xing and Nachiket Kapre. During PhD, my research interest was software analytics, i.e., data mining in software engineering, including software-related text mining and source code mining. I also did some work in parallel computing using GPUs and FPGAs. I obtained my B.Eng degree from the Gifted Class in the Honors College, Northwestern Polytechnical University, in 2011.
